Assisted stretching is for everyone and every body, no matter your lifestyle, fitness level, or flexibility. We’re all on the move in different ways—crushing a beach jog, enjoying a morning surf sesh, chasing after your little ones, or hunching over a desk at work. Our stretch therapists tailor every session to your goals, whether that’s improving range of motion, reducing muscle stiffness, recovering faster post-workout, or simply giving yourself some relaxing TLC. Our expert Stretch*ers come from backgrounds in personal training, exercise science, massage therapy, yoga instruction, and professional dance, and are all trained and certified in the Stretch*d Method.

Getting here is simple – Encinitas is just off the San Diego Freeway (I-5), making it an easy drive, especially if you’re coming from a nearby beach town. If you’re coming from the south, take the Manchester Ave exit and continue onto N. El Camino Real. You’ll see Encinitas Village Shopping Center on your right. We’re in the same center as Trader Joe’s, Ralphs, and Basecamp Fitness. If you’re coming from downtown Encinitas, just head East on Encinitas Blvd, and you’ll find us at the El Camino Real intersection. There’s plenty of parking, so finding a spot is no problem.

Before you book.

Before we get stretching, your Stretch*r will check in about any goals or areas you’d like to focus on. We recommend arriving a few minutes early so that this doesn’t eat into your session—we start right on time! During an assisted stretching session, we’ll unlock tight muscles, release tension and neck pain, alleviate stress, and help you relax. Your stretch therapist uses techniques such as passive stretching, myofascial release, and deep tissue work. No warm up or cool down required—your Stretch*r will be doing all the work.

Like all Stretch*d services, assisted stretching sessions are one-on-one in a private area. You’re in expert hands at our Encinitas assisted stretching studio.

It depends on your goals, but most clients see the biggest transformation with a weekly or bi-weekly routine. If you’re working to improve mobility, recover from an injury, or build a long-term flexibility and mobility program, a consistent weekly cadence tends to deliver the fastest results. If you’re using sessions more for maintenance and stress relief, every two to three weeks works beautifully. Your Stretch*r can help you build a schedule designed around your lifestyle and goals.

We accept walk-ins, but cannot ensure we’ll have sessions available. It’s best to make an appointment to secure your spot.

Always! We meet you where you’re at, without ever pushing or forcing a stretch too far. Whether you’re recovering from a sports injury, a work injury, or simply seeking pain relief, our treatment plans answer your specific needs. We incorporate myofascial release and personalized care to enhance muscle function and support strength. Our team assesses your needs, fitness level, flexibility, and other factors before every session.

After 15 minutes, your time slot will be made available for booking by other clients. Unfortunately, if you are late, we cannot make up for lost time. Please arrive with enough time to get settled so we can stretch you for as long as possible. Cancellations and reschedules made more than 24 hours in advance are fully refundable. Sessions rescheduled within 24 hours will be forfeited. Missed sessions will be forfeited. Cancellations can be made online, by phone, or by email.
