This is stretching like you’ve never done before. In fact, it’s stretching you can’t do for yourself at home. (And it’s just plain luxurious having someone else do it for you.)

Our NYC assisted stretching therapy sessions are designed to restore both physical and emotional well-being through an experience tailored to your age, lifestyle, and body. Our Stretch*rs take into account your goals and needs before every session, targeting just the right areas and loosening muscles you didn’t even know you had.

Our assisted stretching methods build flexibility, correct muscle imbalance, ease tension, soothe sore muscles, promote recovery, and alleviate stress. These professional stretching techniques target key muscle groups using scientifically backed exercise science principles. Whether you’re running marathons or typing away at a desk all day, we’ll ease any stiffness and tightness you have. As the day’s anxieties melt away, you’re guaranteed to feel relaxed and rejuvenated.

The minute you arrive to a Stretchd location, our expert Stretchrs help create a personalized experience based on your needs. Before the session, we’ll check in with you about problem areas, muscles to target, and overall goals. Then, we’ll get right into one-on-one stretching! From head to toe, our assisted stretching techniques are restorative and oh-so-relaxing. Throughout the session, your Stretch*r will check in to make sure you’re comfortable. There’s no need to warm up or cool down, but we do have a complimentary recovery area with foam rollers, a stall bar, and other stretch aids that you can use before or after each session.

Stretch*ssage is a unique combo of assisted stretching and massage techniques, designed to offer deep relaxation and relief. Drawing from Swedish, deep tissue, Thai and other modalities, the massage helps prep and relax the muscles to maximize your stretch. If you want a more luxurious experience, opt for the Stretch*ssage.

If you wouldn’t wear it to the gym, you probably shouldn’t wear it to get stretch*d. Loose T-shirts, athleisure, and sweats are all great choices. Clothes like dresses, suits, and jeans don’t allow for the proper flexibility, so if you’re coming straight from the office, make sure to bring a change of clothes. Also, socks are required for all sessions.

We have convenient changing areas for use before or after your stretch session. There are no showers, although you won’t need them—since we’re doing all the stretching, you won’t break a sweat.

If you’re a returning Stretch*d lover, we recommend arriving 5 minutes before your session so you can check in with your Stretch*r and change clothes if needed. If it’s your first time (yay!), please arrive at least 10 minutes early to fill out paperwork, check out our facilities, and talk with your Stretch*r about specific goals.

We know how New York can be. Between delayed subways, flaky Ubers, and taxi traffic, we recommend leaving early to ensure you have enough travel time. Unfortunately, if you are late, we cannot make up for lost time. Please arrive with enough time to get settled so we can stretch you for as long as possible. Before and after your session, you can also make use of our Flex area. After 15 minutes, your time slot will be made available for booking by other clients. Sessions rescheduled more than 12 hours in advance will be credited to your account for future use (we do not offer refunds). Sessions rescheduled within 12 hours will be forfeited. Missed sessions will be forfeited. Cancellations can be made online, by phone, or by email.
